Scholarships Offer from the Hungarian Government 2026-2027
- The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research receives a scholarship offer for the academic year 2026-2027, from the Hungarian government.
- This program is intended for top-performing students (maximum of 3 students per specialty) enrolled during the academic year 2025-2026 in their third year of undergraduate studies (L3) or in their final year of master's/engineering studies (M2/Ing 5), respectively aiming to prepare for a Master's degree or a doctorate (PhD).
- This program gives right only to the scholarship granted by the Hungarian party and the final selection is the responsibility of the Hungarian side.

- The application for this scholarship is as follows:
1 - Online application: All information about this offer can be found on the Hungarian government webpage: https://www.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/apply/ , the deadline for submitting online applications is fixed at January 15, 2026.
2 - Submission of the file Departments/Faculties: after submitting the online application, students are invited to submit their application files to their Departments/Faculties.
- Application file (electronic version on CD):
1. Application form for a scholarship in Hungary 2026-2027
2. Copy of the registration certificate on the Stipendium Hungaricum platform (mandatory)
3. A copy of the selection committee's minutes
4. A handwritten application from the candidate outlining their motivation for this training program, endorsed by their hierarchical supervisor
5. A copy of the high school diploma transcript
6. Registration/re-registration certificates for the 5 years of the university program - For PhD applications
7. Registration/re-registration certificates for the 3 years of the university program - For Master's applications
8. Transcripts for the first four years of study (L1/I1, L2/I2, L3/I3, M1/I4 for Universities and University Centers or CP1, CP2, 1ASC, 2ASC for High Graduate Schools) - For PhD applications
9. Transcripts for the first two years of study (L1, L2) - For Master's applications
10. Certificate of top student in the graduating class (to be downloaded)
11. Certificate indicating the number of stars of the student (to be downloaded)
12. Copy of the first page of the passport
13. Identity Photo
14. Excel file: to be completed by the Departments/Faculties (to be downloaded)
- Application procedure:
- Application files must be submitted to the Departments/Faculties.
- Deadline for transmitting the application files (CD) by the Faculties to the Vice Rectorate of External Relations is: January 27, 2026.
